| May 9th/10th we were in Big Springs, where Bailey took BOB
and GROUP 2nd on the first day. The Havanese that beat us
in group went on to win Best in Show! On the 2nd day,
Bailey got Best of Breed again, but didn't place in group.
He was distracted by a screaming baby in the grandstand and I
couldn't get him to focus. Olivia was Best Opposite Sex.
This was her 1st show weekend in the States.
Shows like this make us realize the pictures don't come in
near soon enough! |
| April 19th @ the Papillon Nationals: Bailey made the final
cut, and his handler said he was being considered for 3rd place
when he balked at the judge and refused to be examined a second
time. One of the dog who was moved in front of him was one of my
most favorite dogs. The simple fact of making the final
cut was quite a thrill.
The following weekend in Shreveport La, he got two 1st/
Reserves and one 1st. |
| April 7-9, a slow start for Bailey, winning two 4ths and a
3rd in in Witchita Ks for his first shows. Much better at
his second shows in Grove Ok on April 16th and 17th taking the
points the first day as Winner's Dog, and getting a 1st and
Reserve the 2nd day.

March 2011, we welcome Ohlala Olivia vom Cavalierchen!
She is such a doll, but she steals everything that's not bolted
town. I spent a week yelling at the kids for leaving their
toys and trash in the floor and it turned out that Olivia was
the culprit! |
I've always wanted a "What's New" page, to display all the
current events with my dogs and can never find the time to keep
up with it. I suppose 2011 is as good a time as any to
begin, with the Arrival of and Mefath's Bailey!
